Social media account data
When you connect a social media account (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) through our client portal, we collect and store the OAuth access tokens, account identifiers, profile names, and analytics data returned by those platforms. We only request the permissions necessary to provide the features you use.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract — processing necessary to provide the services you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — improving our platform, preventing fraud, and ensuring security.
- Consent — where you have opted in to marketing communications or non-essential cookies.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process data by law.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service providers — trusted third parties who help us operate our platform (hosting, database, email delivery). They are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Social media platforms — when you authorise us to post content or retrieve analytics on your behalf, data is exchanged with those platforms under their respective terms.
- Legal authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
Social media access tokens are deleted immediately upon disconnecting an account.
6. Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the portal.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
