Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using socialhub.academy or the SocialHub Academy client portal. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
SocialHub Academy ("we", "us", "our") provides social media coaching, strategy, and a client management portal to help businesses build and grow their social media presence. Our services are operated from the United Kingdom.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing a package, or using any part of our platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
3. Our Services
SocialHub Academy provides:
- Social media coaching and strategy consultancy.
- A client portal for scheduling and publishing social media content.
- Analytics dashboards connecting to your social media accounts.
- Educational resources including guides, templates, videos, and articles.
- Goal planning and accountability tools.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
4. Accounts and Registration
To access the client portal, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with third parties.
- Notify us immediately at hello@socialhub.academy if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Not create accounts using false identities or for the purpose of impersonation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Social Media Integrations
Our portal allows you to connect third-party social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok). By connecting an account, you:
- Authorise us to access, retrieve, and display data from those platforms on your behalf.
- Authorise us to publish content to those platforms when you request it.
- Confirm that you own or have the legal right to manage the accounts you connect.
- Acknowledge that your use of those platforms remains subject to each platform's own terms of service.
We are not responsible for changes to third-party platform APIs or policies that affect the functionality of integrations. You can disconnect any social account at any time from within the portal.
6. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of all content (text, images, videos) that you create or upload through our platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit content that:
- Infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- Is defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.
- Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Violates the terms of service of the social media platforms to which it is published.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these terms or is otherwise harmful.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription or package. All fees are listed on our website and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
- Billing — subscriptions are billed on the agreed cycle (monthly or otherwise) in advance.
- Cancellation — you may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds — we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. Refunds outside this window are at our discretion.
- Failed payments — we reserve the right to suspend access if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate for UK customers.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on socialhub.academy — including the Fundamental Five framework, branding, design, text, graphics, videos, and software — is the intellectual property of SocialHub Academy and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
Resources made available in the portal (guides, templates, videos) are licensed to you for personal business use only. They may not be resold, redistributed, or used in training materials without prior written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on our platform without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services.
- Use our platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our software.
10. Disclaimers
Our coaching and strategy services represent guidance based on experience and best practice. We do not guarantee specific results. Social media performance depends on many factors outside our control, including platform algorithms, market conditions, and the consistency and quality of your own actions.
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialHub Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialHub Academy and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your User Content, or your breach of these terms.
13. Third-Party Services
Our platform integrates with third-party services (social media platforms, payment processors, etc.). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or terms of those services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at hello@socialhub.academy to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SocialHub Academy regarding use of our services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
